Local Airmen volunteer, aid local homeless veterans
Steven, retired, left, and Eubert, retired, right, pose for a photo during the 22nd Annual Homeless Veteran Stand Down in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sept. 15, 2020. At last year’s stand down, Steven and Eubert were homeless and came to the event seeking aid. At that event, they were able to connect with a program that helped them get back on their feet. This year, they returned to the event as volunteers. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Amanda Lovelace)
