Thule Air Base change of command

THULE AIR BASE, Greenland – Col. Chris Crawford (left), 21st Space Wing commander, passes the 821st Air Base Group guidon to Col. Joseph Prue, during a change of command ceremony at Thule AB. Prue took command of the 821st ABG July 18. The 821st ABG is one of the six installations operated by the 21st Space Wing, and supports Thule’s missile warning, missile defense, space surveillance, and satellite command and control missions through comprehensive base support and integrated defense of the 254 square mile Thule Defense Area.
