PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- A total of 12 individuals assigned to Peterson AFB received Articles 15 during the third quarter of 2013. The Airmen were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

A senior airman from the 21st Force Support Squadron received an Article 15 for indecent conduct, DUI and diverse failure to go. The individual's punishment was a reduction to E-1, 30 days extra duty, 15 days restriction, a reprimand, and a suspended forfeiture of $758 per month for two months.

A staff sergeant from the 21st Medical Operations Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to obey a lawful order. The punishment was a reduction to E-4, a suspended forfeiture of $500 a month for two months and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from the 21st MDOS received an Article 15 for diverse failure to obey a lawful order. The staff sergeant's punishment was a reduction to E-4, a suspended forfeiture of $500 a month for two months and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from the 21st Communications Squadron received an Article 15 for diverse failure to go. The staff sergeant's punishment was a reduction to E-4 and a reprimand.

A senior airman from 21st CS received an Article 15 for diverse failure to go and diverse false official statement. The senior airman's punishment was a reduction to E-1, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A technical sergeant from the 13th Air Support Operations Squadron received an Article 15 for assault consummated by battery. The technical sergeant's punishment was a reduction to E-5, 45 days extra duty, suspended forfeitures of $1,446 per month for two months and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from the 13th ASOS received an Article 15 for diverse GTC misuse. The staff sergeant's punishment was a reduction to E-4, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A technical sergeant from the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron received an Article 15 for being drunk on duty. The technical sergeant's punishment was a forfeiture of $1,799 for one month and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from the 21st Security Forces Squadron received an Article 15 for GTC misuse. The staff sergeant's punishment was a forfeiture of $480 per month for two months and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 821st SFS received an Article 15 for GTC misuse and failure to obey a lawful order. The senior airman's punishment was a reduction to E-3 and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 821st SFS received an Article 15 for failure to go and failure to obey a lawful order. The airman's punishment was a suspended reduction to E-2, which was later vacated, and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from the 367th Recruiting Squadron received an Article 15 for diverse failure to obey a lawful order and false official statement. The staff sergeant's punishment was a suspended reduction to E-4 and a reprimand.

(Note: A suspended punishment means the action (whether loss of rank or pay) is suspended for a period of time -- usually six months. If the individual does not get in more trouble during that time, then everything stays as it is. However, if the individual gets in trouble during the suspension period, then the commander can vacate the suspension and "take" the rank or pay.)
