6th SWS gets new commander

CAPE COD AIR FORCE STATION, Mass. – Col. David Miller Jr., 21st Operations Group commander, passes the 6th Space Warning Squadron guidon to Lt. Col. David Anderson during the 6th SWS change of command ceremony June 27 here. Anderson assumed command from Lt. Col. Walt Jackim. The 6th SWS is responsible for detecting and reporting missile launches originating from or advancing towards the North American East Coast.
