Tracking Santa with NORAD

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Chief Master Sgt. Idalia A. Peele, 21st Space Wing command chief, Col. John E. Shaw, 21st SW commander, and Rachel Shaw, daughter of Col. Shaw, answer phone calls from families around the world for the annual NORAD Tracks Santa event, Dec. 24, 2014. Started by a wrong phone number in a Sears flyer, this is the 59th year for the event where volunteers will answer phone calls and emails from children from all over the world asking where Santa Claus is on his route. NORAD also provides a website showing where Santa is, where he is going to next and how many gifts he has delivered. For more information on the event, go to www.noradsanta.org.
