Space Delta 6 activated multiple cyberspace squadrons throughout Space Operation Command’s mission Deltas to fully integrate cyber with space and intelligence surveillance, and reconnaissance, providing cyber capability to operational missions.
Over the past months, Delta 6 achieved critical milestones in this effort. After two years of design and implementation, Delta 6 successfully activated the 69th, 68th and 64th cyber squadrons to support Space Deltas 9, 8 and 4, respectively. The ceremonies were a huge accomplishment for Delta 6 priorities toward securing space systems across the service.
Family members, mission area teams and industry leaders, the Delta commanders and Guardians were all in attendance.
Delta 6 is headquartered at Schriever SFB, Colorado, and plans, programs, integrates, operates and maintains command and control, and common-user systems in support of U.S. Space Command, U.S. Air Force Warfare Center and the Missile Defense Agency.
