How has joining the Air Force impacted your life? The Air Force has had a positive impact on my life in several ways. It has broadened my horizons both educationally and professionally by equipping me with the means to flourish. I have been given the opportunity to go back to school and pursue a master's degree in national security studies. My supervisor refused to let me sit idle but encouraged and challenged me to obtain an education and use it to further my career within the Air Force.

What's your favorite thing about being in the Air Force? My favorite thing about being in the Air Force is the opportunity I have been afforded in shaping America's future. This can take place by fighting for our country overseas or just maintaining vigilance at home. In the end, I can stand up and be proud of the service that I have provided for America and its people.

Why selected: "Senior Airman Briscoe-Jenkins has continuously proven herself as an unequivocal asset to Cape Cod Air Force Station. She has maintained a high level of job performance while mentoring incoming security forces Airmen. She is a faithful member of the 6th SWS Honor Guard, which she has participated in eight events and retirements ceremonies for the squadron. She also plays a prominent role in the local community by speaking and mentoring to the Civil Air Patrol, leading the Meals-on-Wheels program and by pursuing a Master of Arts degree in National Security Studies at the American Military University," said Staff Sgt. Dana Moore, 6th SWS Security Forces flight chief.
