The 21st Space Wing second annual Diversity Culture Fair is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 8 in The Club. The fair is open to all of Team Pete.
The fair focuses on celebrating the rich culture and diversity in the Air Force and Team Pete's workforce. The fair features booths representing cultures and information from the American Indian, Hispanic, African American, Middle East, Asian Pacific Islander, Women's History and People with Disabilities. In addition, a traveling display of the Jewish Holocaust, as well as representations from Ireland, Norway, the Philippines and the 21st SW's geographically separated units around the world.
Sons of Norway, Czech and Slovak Dancers, Universal Kempo Karate Group, Christina Yeh Dance Company, Oluwaseyi Drum and Dance Ensemble, Magic of Pacific Island and Pride of Pacific Dance Team will provide entertainment throughout the event. Guests can also enjoy samplings of cuisine from around the world.
Guests who attend the fair will receive a passport, which they can have stamped at each booth. Once their passport is complete and upon departing the fair, they will receive a gift for attending.
