13th SWS gets new commander

CLEAR AIR FORCE STATION, Alaska – Lt. Col. Paul Tombarge, former 21st Operations Group commander, passes the 13th Space Warning Squadron guidon to Lt. Col. Jennifer Jeffries, during an assumption of command ceremony at Clear AFS. Jeffries took command of the 13th SWS June 6. The 13th SWS is one of the 21st Space Wing’s 23 geographically separated units, and supports the space surveillance network by providing space surveillance data, tracking, reporting and space object identification.
